Audioguide Traben-Trarbach

With the new audio tour through Traben-Trarbach you will get to know the city from a completely new perspective.

Along the most important sights there is now a new attraction for visitors and guests: the "Lauschtour-Traben-Trarbach", an audio guide that invites you to a discovery tour through Traben-Trarbach.

At a total of 16 stations, the history of the double city comes alive. The new Lauschtour leads on a distance of approx. 2 km past historical places and buildings and provides exciting information and background knowledge. The start of the approx. 60-minute listening tour is at the Tourist Information in the Traben district and ends at the Old City Tower in the Trarbach district.

Discover Traben-Trarbach in a flexible and individual way - without any time pressure or city guide.
We promise it will be interesting, surprising and above all exciting.

How it works ...

1. download Lauschtour app (free of charge in the App Store or in Google Play)
2. select and start a tour
3. let's go! Starting point is at the Tourist Information Office (in front of the entrance of the Tourist Information Office near the crosswalk)

Using GPS, the app automatically triggers the individual audios when you arrive at the right place, and by starting the tour without using GPS, you can also take the tour manually. However, a tour with GPS is recommended.

  • At your own pace:
With GPS enabled, the audio at the listening points will start automatically.
The tour can be interrupted and started again at any time.
  • Stored offline:
When you start the tour, all content is stored on your smartphone,
so there is no need for internet reception when you are on the road.
Tip: Download the tour already at home via WLAN.
  • Perfect listening pleasure:
    With headphones or smartphone speakers:
Headphones are recommended especially in cities because of the ambient noise.

Barrier-free

The offer is also aimed specifically at people with physical disabilities. The tour is largely suitable for wheelchairs and baby carriages. For hearing impaired and deaf people, image and text sequences are stored at the respective listening points in the app.
