"...and wine that maketh glad the heart of man..."

The unrivalled and unique vineyards and stunning steep slate slopes in and around the Traben-Trarbach holiday region make the hearts of wine lovers beat faster.

The wine-growing tradition that was introduced some 2,000 years ago when the Romans came to the Moselle is continued today with the cultivation of top wines.

The heat-retaining and mineral-rich steep slate slopes on the Moselle provide perfect growing conditions for the “queen of the white vine”, the Riesling.

And this wine tastes best in the area where it grows and where it was made!
